No surprise that in July in Sacramento we are experiencing triple digit temperatures. We understand that your first priority must always be the safety of yourself and those who depend on you. If your or a loved one’s home is too hot, for whatever reason, you need to GET SOMEPLACE WHERE IT’S COOL.

The good folks at www.211sacramento.org have just released a list of five locations in the Sacramento area where you can find temporary relief from the heat, click here, or you can call 2-1-1 or (916) 498-1000 for updates.

Since they specify the dates of the centers’ availability on the web page, I would imagine that the list varies from heatwave to heatwave. You might want to bookmark the 211 site so you can find it again.
